Last week I went to a yoga class for the first time in forever.
During our cool down the teacher did a reading and I found myself, not only deep breathing to try and find a place of calm… but also having to breath through a lump that was building in my throat…
It wasn’t caused by a feeling of saddnes. I was emotional but if anything I wanted to smile. The words just hit something inside of me and as cliché as it sounds, they just spoke to me.✨
(Some people hate stuff like this, I know) BUT if it can make someone else’s day the way that it made mine last Wednesday, I HAVE to share it.
Enjoy and Happy Sunday 💫 🙏
“You can never be too old to answer your calling and it can never be too late. For the truth of the matter is that your soul is always calling, it was calling yesterday, it is calling today and it will be calling next week.
Answering the callings of your soul isn’t a one-time act; it’s a constant conversation. It’s not actually about doing one big thing or finding one single answer to the great big question: “what is my purpose?” It’s doing hundreds and thousands of little things in a direction, one after the other. It’s through following each and every little call (a step here and a leap there) that we find ourselves living the life we are called to live. Once we find this higher calling it seems like it “just happened” but in reality it has been in the process of happening for ages. Your soul knows your path. Keep listening to and acting on the whispers each and every day. Before you know it you’ll be well on your way.
Your soul is always calling, gently pointing in the right direction, and subtly edging you closer towards the things that light you up. If you wait to find out exactly where your path is heading before you act, you will never experience the bliss of walking your path. if you wait until the intuitive hunches make sense before you act, the longer you will be waiting. The motto I live my life by is by saying “If it doesn’t make sense, you know it’s your intuition.” Carve out 10 minutes every day to tune and and listen to the callings of your soul. Be curious. Your soul is always calling, but in order to hear its callings you need to sit down and listen.” – Rebecca Campbell
