We’ve been planning and gathering lots of little bits in order to throw together a Halloween weekend packed with seasonal fun so I was glad when we finally kicked it all off!
The Halloween weekend (of course) started at Audley End Miniature Railway for some Halloween crafts, Just Dance, story time, face paint and a spooky train ride!
(Miya loves the bouncy castle too-you have to pay an extra £2 for the day.)
We finished the afternoon with our spooky train ride and headed home for a cosy night in…
Complete with hot chocolate (and ghost marshmallows!), a spot of biscuit decorating and Goosebumps (which turned out to be way too scary for Miya so we ended up watching Monster Family instead lol)
Then finally…
After picking up our Pumpkins form Cammas Hall Pumpkin Patch the time had come to CARVE THEM!

This year I didn’t want to just waste all of the left over pumpkin guts so we made sure to use up every last piece of Plum!
If you want to find out exactly how far we were able to spread him and would like a few ideas of what you could do with YOUR pumpkin guts in the future CLICK HERE!
Moving on…to a little bit of baking!
HALLOWEEN COOKIES!
These little cuties were easy peasy to knock up and Miya loved helping out.

After a LUSH bath with one of our bath bombs and this lovely autumnal body wash from The Body Shop our Halloween ended, gathered in the front room with the heating on and watching Casper with a cup of tea.
…in conclusion a HAPPY Halloween!
It was so much fun embracing all of the festive fun and seeing what everyone else got up to as well! Plenty of inspiration for next year!
