Eating What Miya Tells Me To!
Helloooo and Happy Tuesday
Do you ever find yourself eyeing up your kids/younger siblings/friends children’s food, secretly envious?
Yeah I though so…
ME TOO!
Chicken dippers, cheese and tomato pizza…even a simple ham sandwich with a bag of crisps!
After years of doing my best at being a health conscious “grown up”, I’d found myself looking at such simple pleasures as not being an option (unless fingers crossed Miya can’t finish her dinner)…
…I missed it… and decided to have a bit of fun all in the name of Blog/Vlog Fun in the form of a food challenge!
When it comes to nutrition, I try my best to educate my younger sister Miya (without bamboozling her) on balanced eating…so I thought it would be interesting to see what she’s absorbed over the years!
She was given free rein to design a “balanced” day of eating for us, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and a few snack options…
…and no matter how random…I couldn’t argue.
I didn’t want the challenge to be about whether her decisions were good or bad…I was just curious to see what she would come up with and asked her to talk me through it here and there.
When I originally decided to do the food challenge I was expecting a full day of typical “kid eats” BUT…I have to admit she surprized me and didn’t really go down that route so much.
I guess I underestimated her desire for a balanced diet!
So without further ado,
I present to you…

& that was my diet for the day!
It was so much fun to see how excited she was to be in charge and I wasn’t complaining either!
What do you think? Would you sign up for a Meatballs Menu?!
