One of the best things about being at home so much is having the time to do things everyday life usually seems to get in the way of.
Start yoga? A new book? Clear out your wardrobe?
OR… the most popular option right now… FINALLY make a dent in your overwhelming growing “to watch” list on Netflix.
Netflix and chill with no REAL end date!
Here’s what I’ve accomplished during lockdown so far…
Spenser Confidential
This action was a super easy watch for my Mark Wahlberg loving eyes!

Lost Girls
Based on a true story, this was a pretty heavy one and although following this ladies search is frustrating and heartbreaking, it made for a good watch.

Tiger King
I only pressed play on this one as a joke but before we knew it we were hooked! This weird and wonderful true murder series follows a tiger loving hillbilly on his crazy big cat breeding journey and we just couldn’t help but love him!

The Pianist
Last year my Mum took a trip to Krakow where she visited Auschwitz. As she told me of how eerie it was walking around the former concentration camp I found myself disturbed yet intrigued to learn more of the awful history. I googled as much as I could, watched lots of documentaries and following that my brother suggested this to me. It was an intense and upsetting watch but a very powerful movie.

Le Miserables
I honestly felt like the only person on the planet who’d never seen this movie so I thought there was no better time to finally put and end to that!

Due Date
After such an intense few nights of watching we wanted a light fluffier watch, so decided on the comedy Due Date simply because of the cast and it served it purpose perfectly. Ps love you Robert

Clueless
Another one I’d never seen (and felt like the only one)! I wouldn’t say it was as special to me as those who grew up watching it but I’m glad I ticked it off and it was a nice easy watch!

Five Feet Apart
This is another one chosen because of the cast, I LOVE Cole Sprouse and had heard good things about it. We both sympathised very much for the main characters and went to bed feeling sad so although that wasn’t fun, they obviously did a great job.

and finally…
Orange is the New Black
After years of being told I need to watch this mammoth 7 season deep series, we’ve finally committed, are currently 4 seasons in and really enjoying it!

Still on the bucket list is…
-Gossip Girl
-Girl Interrupted
-Uncut Gems
-And MAYBE Game of Thrones (but that’s a big maybe)
If anyone has any good suggestions please feel free to leave them in the comments below!
Happy Sunday…and Happy Netflixing! 🙂
Games of thrones is brilliant, American gods is very strange but kinda funny when you get it (music really annoying in 1st season). Breaking bad.. But who hasn’t seen that. The films incude American made (good)… Bad times at the el royale (again weird but I liked it, probably says a lot about me}

Ah yes, loved Breaking Bad and American Made and Bad time at the El Royal, I’m now obsessed with the song the lady sings in the mirror “This Old Heart of Mine”. Ok Game of Thrones and American Gods is on the list! Thank you!

I would read or audible American gods first , i read the book first which helped, but the series is quite different but reading helps you understand what the hell is going on.
