Good morning all,
I’m currently sat in my living room with some “Tuesday Morning Jazz” on in the background, after finishing my morning coffee and doing a bit of coaching work before I head to the office for the day and I had the sudden urge to share my latest book recommendation with you.
Yesterday right after work I treated myself to a bubble bath and read.
I was right on the last few chapters of my book and not only did I finish it, I was shocked by a turn that it took!
I couldn’t stop thinking about it and although it was a little dark I REALLY enjoyed it.
I’ve only just started to venture out of the self-help section of the library and I’m experiencing these feelings for the first time!
Getting truly absorbed into a story and feeling all of the things the author wants me to feel.
I never thought it possible a few years ago as I didn’t class myself as a “reader”, so it feels like a whole new realm has opened up to me! 🙂
Anyway, the book I finished last night, I finished it, closed it and just found myself staring at the cover and smirking to myself for a while. THAT’S why I want to tell you about it.
Because surely if I felt the need to stare, it’s worth a share!
The Cows by Dawn O’Porter
-Three women. A Whole world of judgement. Tara, Cam and Stella are very different women. Yet in a society that sets the agenda, there’s something about being a women that ties invisible bonds between them.
Social media, relationships, work, sex, bad friends, not wanting children, patriarchy. It’s all there!
If it sounds like your jam or if it doesn’t, please give it a read and let me know what you think. I’d love to know!
