
Happy Saturday All🙃
I’ve managed to misplace my phone charger so today I’ve been without that addictive distraction and I’ve decided it happened on purpose.
🌈I went for a walk and had to just be at one with nature, no music, no audiobook, no insta checking, NOTHING.
🌈90% of my walk ended up being in suuuuuuper heavy rain and it was suuuuuuper invigorating (but wouldn’t have been very healthy for Alex’s headphones which I WOULD have been wearing if I had my phone with me).
🌈During that walk I popped into our lovely local Broadway Deli and picked up the panettone I’ve been saying I want to buy for weeks, ready for Christmas enjoyment.
🌈I got home from my walk and finally took the time to have that weight training workout I’v been craving for weeks, leaving me feeling like a magical, empowered and strong pineapple head. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the one Saturday I can’t talk to my Insta story all day long I finally did that for myself.
PS- I did my workout whilst watching my fave YouTubers which made it feel like a really nice little 2 in 1 self care session. I will do more content on this when I have a phone again because helping you romanticise moving your body is important to me.
🌈I then enjoyed a cup of tea and some biscuits while I waited for my dinner to cook and am now going to put on a cosy christmassy music/crackling fireplace background video on Youtube, have a bath and read my book.
