Diet-Culture Dropout Day 15

Good afternoon and Happy Thursday,


I hope you’re well 🙂


I know that it’s not possible to keep ALL of the plates spinning ALL of the time but I hope you have been managing to look after yourself mentally and physically, whatever that came in the form of for you this week.


Personally I haven’t been the ultimate self-care junkie this week but I’ve definitely not done half bad and have kept myself afloat.


BUT today I’m going to do something different, something I haven’t done at all this week to mix things up on the self-care front.


Anaaaaaad I would like to invite you to do the same.


So if you’ve been on it with your journaling this week why not listen to a podcast?

If you’ve been walking every day why not have a dance session?

If you’ve read every day, maybe do a puzzle?

Affirmations done? Great! But what about a guided mediation?


WHATEVER it is, make it something that’s you’ve wanted to do but neglected.


For me it’s going to be yoga- I’m currently (slowly) making my way through a 30 Day yoga journey called TRUE with the one and only Adrienne on YouTube and today I will be doing the next day on this list.


I’m going to embrace my evening once works finished m and romanticise the sh*t out of it by drinking some water, meditating, journaling, pulling an oracle card and lighting an incense before hand.


But yoga will be the priority, appreciating and trying to be present in every moment.
